New Delhi, May 13 (IANS) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 Board exam results for 2025 on Tuesday. This year, an impressive 93.66 per cent of students passed the examination. Over 23 lakh students appeared for the exam, which was held at 7,837 centres across 26,675 affiliated schools.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 board examination results for the academic year 2024–25 today, May 13, 2025. The national pass percentage stands at 93.66%.This year’s outcome marks a slight improvement over 2024’s 93.60%Over 23.7 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams held across thousands of centres in India and abroad. Students who appeared for the exam can visit the official websites or DigiLocker portal to access their results. Of the 22,38,827 students who appeared for the exam this year, 20,95,467 candidates passed the exam. Girls have demonstrated an exceptional performance, outperforming boys and securing a pass percentage of 95%, improving from last year’s 94.75%. On the other hand, boys recorded a slight dip to 92.63% in 2025, while transgender students made remarkable progress, rising from 91.30% in 2024 to match the girls’ performance at 95.00%.

In CBSE Class 10th Board exams 2025, Trivandrum is leading as the top-performing district with a notable overall pass percentage of 99.84%, closely followed by Vijaywada. The top performing districts are: Trivandrum, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune. Girls have outperformed boys in all top-performing districts, as mentioned here:

In the CBSE Class 10 results for 2025, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) led all categories with a pass rate of 99.49%, followed closely by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 99.45%. Private schools posted a solid performance with a 94.17% pass rate. Central Tibetan Schools (STSS) registered 91.53%, government schools stood at 89.26%, and government-aided institutions recorded the lowest at 83.94%.
