Anthony Stolarz, goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs, has not appeared in a game since he injured himself in Game 1 of the series with the Florida Panthers. The club has not disclosed much, but fans believe that he may have a concussion. He practiced light shots before camp but did not remain through the entire practice. With the playoff series in a 2-2 deadlock, the Leafs are looking forward to hearing some positive news concerning Anthony Stolarz soon.

Anthony Stolarz took soft shots but departed ice

Before full practice began at the Ford Performance Centre, Anthony Stolarz hit the ice for a brief period. He practiced with goalie coach Curtis Sanford and took some soft shots just to get moving around. This is a step in the right direction, but he still departed before the full team hit the ice.
The Leafs haven't said what type of injury Anthony Stolarz has. But it could have occurred when he was struck in the head in Game 1. First, he was hit in the face by Florida's Sam Reinhart. Then, he was bumped in the head by Sam Bennett. After that, he was removed from the game and hasn't played since. The team hasn't provided much on it, and they're keeping it quiet. Some supporters and media believe that it might be a concussion, which takes a while to recover from. Coach Craig Berube indicated at the weekend that Stolarz hadn't skated, but now we understand he's at least back on the ice in a limited capacity.

Joseph Woll filled in goal while Sergei Bobrovsky blanked Leafs in Game 4

With Anthony Stolarz injured, goalie Joseph Woll has filled in. He has done a commendable job in keeping the team in the fray. The series is now at 2-2 after four games. On the other side, Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has also been solid. He stopped all shots in Game 4 and led the Panthers to a 2-0 victory. That contest was a hard one for the Leafs to lose, but they are still very much in the series.Leafs captain Auston Matthews was on the ice for practice again. That's a positive sign, as he has sat out some of the playoff action. In the meantime, defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson did not appear at practice. Also Read: Anthony Stolarz’s Recovery Timeline Uncertain After Head Injury: Latest Updates
